Roxana Saberi’s first public appearance in Chicago after her release from Iranian prison

Roxana Saberi, addressed the Human Rights Rally in Solidarity with the people if Iran in Chicago’s Fed Plaza

On Saturday 25 July 2009 , in conjunction with a global action day in solidarity with the Iranian people in defense of human rights in Iran , a coalition of Iranian communities in metropolitan Chicago held a rally in Federal Plaza at 12:00 Noon. This Rally was a part of “Unite 4 Iran” global action day with a number of expert speakers from the Midwest on Iran and Human Rights. This rally was attended by about Five hundred Chicagoans with Iranian ancestry and many freedom loving Americans.See More images.
